Information on data protection

Bilbao Exhibition Centre, S.A. (with registered office at Ronda de Azkue 1, 48902 Ansio-Barakaldo – “BEC”) and EasyFairs Iberia S.L. (with registered office at C/ Edgar Neville, 27 (formerly General Moscardó) – 28020 Madrid, Spain) act as joint controllers of your personal data, in their capacity as co-organisers of MAINTENANCE. For these purposes, they have undertaken to cooperate in good faith to ensure compliance with the obligations set out in data protection regulations and, in particular, to facilitate the effective exercise of your rights as described in this policy.

The purposes of the treatment of your data are (i) management of your participation in the trade fair and of the contractual relationship that, as a result of your participation in MAINTENANCE, may be established with you, and (ii) to keep you informed about future events held at BEC, or organised or supported by BEC, related to the sector, which may be of interest to you.

The personal data provided will be stored by BEC and EasyFairs Iberia S.L. until you exercise your right to object or to erasure with regard to purpose (ii), or for the applicable statutory limitation periods.

The legitimacy cause for the processing of your data is, for purpose (i), the performance of the legal relationship between BEC and EasyFairs Iberia S.L. (in their capacity as co-organisers of MAINTENANCE) and you, and for purpose (ii), the legitimate interest of BEC and EasyFairs Iberia S.L.

BEC and EasyFairs Iberia S.L. will not share your data with third parties, unless legally required to do so.

You are entitled to access, change or cancel your data, oppose its processing, to withdraw the consent given (for example, to stop receiving information), or to request the restriction of processing or the portability of your data. 

You may choose to submit any applicable written requests in order to exercise the aforementioned rights before each to of the joint controllers separately, providing proof of your identity, through the following means:
    BEC: by email to visimaintenance@bec.eu or by post to the registered office of BEC (FAO Data Protection).
    EASYFAIRS IBERIA S.L.: by email to privacyES@easyfairs.com or by post to the registered office of EasyFairs Iberia S.L. (FAO Data Protection).

In addition, in each communication sent to you by BEC, you will be offered, in a clear and simple way, the possibility to exercise your right to object.

Likewise, you also have the right to present a claim against the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Control Authority in the field of data protection). Find further information at www.aepd.es.

If data related to third parties is provided by the user during the relationship with BEC (e.g. details of partners or employees), the user declared and guarantees that these third parties have been duly informed of this notice and, where appropriate, their consent has been requested, without BEC nor EasyFairs Iberia S.L. having to carry out any additional action in this respect.
