Information on data protection

The processing of your personal data is the responsibility of Bilbao Exhibition Centre, S.A. (“BEC”), with registered address with registered office at Ronda de Azkue 1, 48902 Ansio-Barakaldo.

The purposes of the treatment of your data are (i) management of your participation in the trade fair and of the contractual relationship that, as a result of your participation in Subcontratación, may be established with you, and (ii) to keep you informed about future events held at BEC, or organised or supported by BEC, related to the sector, which may be of interest to you.

The personal data provided will be stored by BEC until you exercise your right to object or to erasure with regard to purpose (ii), or for the applicable statutory limitation periods.

The legitimacy cause for the processing of your data is for the intended purpose of (i) the performance of the legal relationship between the parties and, for purpose (ii), the legitimate interest of BEC, knowing the promotion of events held at BEC, or organised or supported by BEC, related to the sector, which may be of interest to the recipient.

BEC will not share your data with third parties, unless legally required to do so.

You are entitled to access, change or cancel your data, oppose its processing, to withdraw the consent given (for example, to stop receiving information), or to request the restriction of processing or the portability of your data. You may send any written requests to exercise the aforementioned rights accrediting your identity, to visisubcontratacion@bec.eu or by post to the registered address of BEC (FAO Data Protection).

In addition, in each communication sent to you by BEC, you will be offered, in a clear and simple way, the possibility to exercise your right to object.

Likewise, you also have the right to present a claim against the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Control Authority in the field of data protection). Find further information at www.aepd.es.

If data related to third parties is provided by the user during the relationship with BEC (e.g. details of partners or employees), the user declared and guarantees that these third parties have been duly informed of this notice and, where appropriate, their consent has been requested, without BEC having to carry out any additional action in this respect.
